I was made aware of this brand whilst attending the #bloggersball and fortunately was lucky to receive two products to review. I initially spoke to the lovely ladies at Exuviance to discuss my requirements, as my skin is oily on my forehead, yet elsewhere is unbelievably dry.
Generally, I find it tricky to come across a skincare brand that offers products which suit my skin, so I was super keen to try these after reading rave reviews on Twitter.
For the past week I have been using the Exuviance Age Reverse Hydrafirm, which proposes to hydrate and plump the skin. Firstly, this stuff smells divine! This is my first experience of using a serum and this particular one has a great consistency, really light and absorbs into the skin quickly and easily. You only need a pea size amount at the most. It instantly made my skin feel hydrated, firmer, and smoother. I apply it after cleansing and toning my skin in the morning and need to remember to repeat the process in the evenings too, to ensure the best effects! It increases collagen production, boosting the appearance of skin and is rich in antioxidants too, making this superb product even better! I highly recommend and for the price tag of £59.50, it isn’t too bad, considering this product will last a long time!
The second product which I have been testing is the Exuviance Hydrating Eye Complex, which I pat gently around the eye area using my ring finger, very lightly after cleansing, toning and moisturising in the mornings and before bed. This ‘cream’ feels more like a serum, which sinks into my skin effortlessly! You really need less than a pea size amount, at most, and that’s for both eyes! It soothes and brightens the under eyes perfectly and ensures they feel hydrated. It aims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles whilst also improving hydration, tone and texture. The combination of vital vitamins, antioxidants and soothing extracts of chamomile and algae combine to create a wonderful solution to tired eyes; especially if you wear contacts! This product is reasonably priced at £34, considering the small amount needed.
